Created in 1975, the Andorran Telecommunications Service (STA)
is a public operator which manages and operates, exclusively in Andorran
territory, telecommunication services in general - fixed telephony, mobile
telephony, data transmission, Internet services and other services related
to telecommunications. STA is also responsible for managing the technical
infrastructure and national broadcasting network and digital terrestrial television. STA also currently offers>

state-of-the art service by the end of 2010. STA has joined the premier telecommunications operators
of the world who now offer not only telecommunications services, but also an entire range of innovative
communications and entertainment products. FEDA is a public utility which imports, exports and produces electricity in Andorra. FEDA manages a 600 km network of power lines and is responsible for distribution of power to 70% of the country. The FEDA hydroelectric plant supplies 12% of the Andorran market.
