ABA logo Founded in 1960, the Association of Andorran Banks (ABA) groups all the banks in the Andorran financial sector. Its tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Representing and defending the interests of its members at all levels.
  • Watching over the prestige and image of the banking profession and the development and competitiveness of Andorran banking at both national and international levels.
  • Taking initiatives aimed at improving the technical standards of the sector and avoiding professional trespassing and any other irregular activity.
  • Favouring co-operation within the sector and keeping its members informed on questions of common interest.
  • Ensuring transparency in the application of conditions to customers and seeing to compliance with the ethical rules inherent to the profession.
  • Co-operating with public administrations, the local corporations and other public or semi-public bodies.

At present a total of five banking groups, representing all the banks operating in the country, are member of the Association of Andorran Banks: Andbanc, Crèdit Andorrà, Banca Privada d’Andorra, BIBM, Banc Sabadell d’Andorra.


Founding Summit partner: Asta logoCreated in 1975, the Andorran Telecommunications Service (STA) is a public operator which manages and operates, exclusively in Andorran territory, telecommunication services in general - fixed telephony, mobile telephony, data transmission, Internet services and other services related to telecommunications. STA is also responsible for managing the technical infrastructure and national broadcasting network and digital terrestrial television. STA also currently offers> Andorran residents and businesses cutting-edge services through programs such as "Fibre to the Home", a program which will ultimately provide every home, businesses and institution of the Principality this state-of-the art service by the end of 2010. STA has joined the premier telecommunications operators of the world who now offer not only telecommunications services, but also an entire range of innovative communications and entertainment products.


FEDA logoFEDA is a public utility which imports, exports and produces electricity in Andorra. FEDA manages a 600 km network of power lines and is responsible for distribution of power to 70% of the country. The FEDA hydroelectric plant supplies 12% of the Andorran market. Currently, FEDA is developing an ambitious Ä 140M project to strengthen the electric grid to meet future demands. FEDA has 100 employees and an annual revenue of 50 million Euros.
