Richard Werly

Richard Werly is the European Bureau chief, based in Brussels, for the Swiss daily newspaper Le Temps. He covers Swiss-EU bilateral relations, EU institutions and NATO.

Before covering European issues, Mr. Werly has covered a number of humanitarian crisis and conflicts. Mr. Werly is a fellow board member of the Asia-Europe foundation (ASEF) based in Singapore and a board member of the Lebret Center for development studies (Paris). He was awarded the Nicolas Bouvier Swiss press award for investigation in 2007 for his essay « Tsunami, la verité humanitaire »
