Gert Van Mol founded The Publishing Company while studying at The Catholic University Leuven, publishing the most popular magazines for Belgian youth until 2000. In 2000 he sold The Publishing Company to a company on the Euronext stockexchange. In 2002 he joined The Wall Street Journal Europe as head of distribution operations for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia. In 2007 Gert changed to the marketing side of the Journal, ultimately becoming responsible for more than a quarter of the total circulation, managing The WSJE Executive Travel Program and The WSJE Future Leadership Program. Also in 2007 Mr. Van Mol created The WSJE Future Leadership Institute, a virtual institute bringing university and industry together. In 2010 The WSJE Future Leadership Institute will feature the creation of the “Sustainability Chair”. The past year Gert gave lectures at a.o. London Business School, Cambridge University and Yangzhou University.
