Dennis Pamlin

Dennis Pamlin, has a background in engineering, industrial economy and marketing. He works as an adviser to various companies, governments and NGO in relation to sustainable development and transformative change.

He is a Senior Associate at CASS (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) and a columnist at China Daily. During ten years (From 1999 and the WTO meeting in Seattle to 2009 and the finical crisis/the first year more people lived in cities than in rural areas) he worked for WWF as Global Policy Advisor. During his time in WWF he initiated WWFs Trade and Investment Programme work in the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).

Pamlin led WWFs trade and investment work in Asia and developed WWFs work with IT companies. Pamlin focus on emerging technologies and their role in society and ways that the economic system can understand transformative change (not just incremental improvements).
